Three years of finding our way back to each other.

I love you, obviously. But I also love who we are becoming because of each other. We’ve become agents of change in each other’s lives. We encourage each other. We challenge each other. We annoy each other and make each other better.

Growth comes with its fair share of aches and pains but I love that we keep cheerleading for each other through the tough times.

I love how nerdy you are. How seriously you take your work. How you can spend ages trying to get something exactly right. I love your patience. Your curiosity. Your ridiculous dedication to things that most people would probably give up on.

I even love your grumpy moods. Well, maybe not during a grumpy mood. But I’m learning to be less reactive and sensitive to them.

I love that we are so alike in some ways and completely different in others. You keep surprising me. You keep teaching me things. And after three years, I still feel like there is so much more of you for me to discover.

I think that’s why our life feels like one long honeymoon. And I hope it stays that way.
